The band based in Rome (Italy) was formed in 2006 by Nic Ciaz and Lian Ciaz great and clever artists. Their sound has been influenced by the music coming from the deepest USA South "Southern Rock". The band consacrate the phoenix symbol with the name “FENISIA”.

Like the phoenix reborns stronger from its ashes, the Fenisia was born from the ashes of a band called Purple Phoenix, they were its three fifths and with whom they released two EP. In the first one "Over the hills" they are proud to have Adriano Viterbini (great guitarist tour-man) and in the second one "Double flames" they made up a great Guitar three with Marc Nicoletti.

Their transformation was occurred in the years of silence and individual research, of study and reprocessing that will set up, later, both personality and musical character.

Since 2006 the Fenisia have made many rock shows, having great success from both critic and public; in the mean time Nic has been named, in a important Rome Rock Live Contest, best singer. They have started from now on to play many live exhibition.

They made on opening to the concert of the famous italian blues-man Roberto Ciotti, from that point Radio Rock passed on their song "Vento sul Viso" (wind on the face) wich became a big success.

In the 2007, Nic with the bassist Johnny Space (Enrico Valentini), playng an album project with all songs they have finished during this years and with all songs of the two previous EP.

They come back to the studio to record the very first Album of the band. Nic Ciaz has been the voice and the guitars and the executive producer with Jonny, Marc Nicoletti and Lian Ciaz gave their contribution in some songs with his guitar, Johnny Space was the bass, Simone Durante the Keyboard and the director of the studio recorder, Mauro Bellisario and Matteo Gabbianelli were the Drummers.

In the june of 2007 the album was almost done and after many problems cames to life “Rifugio” (shelter), 11 brand new italian languages songs and the bonus trak “Shelter” recorded in english language, and it was a success passed on by RadioRadio by Night and RadioRock.

They immediately have success, while they are trying to find new ideas to fascinate the public, the band change the line-up and the new found feeling gave them the chance to play in concerts and important music manifestations. Their music becomes a mixture of Southern Rock and Classic Metal.

Nic Ciaz and Lian Ciaz in the 2010 publish a new Album named “LUCIFER” wich turns out to be an incredible match of metal, esoteric and scientific studies influenced by the philosophical movement called “Illuminism”. These new songs are made of hard sounds and catchy texts, enriched by mythical and literary allusions with “Lucifer” their music undergoes a change which makes them play completely different than before. Damnation’s Ballad is the first single of the sterling sound of New York by Leon Zervos and debuts on many Radio interviews, reviews by webzines and it was included in the compilation of the best tracks of 2009 by Metal Demons. This is the begin of "Shining Metal".

La Band nasce nel 2006 nella periferia di Roma da un'idea di Nic Ciaz e di Lian Ciaz , artisti precocemente dotati di versatilità e ingegno elaborano ben presto un sound che risente delle contaminazioni della musica proveniente dal profondo sud degli USA il "Southern Rock". La band consacra la simbologia della "Fenice", presentandosi con il nome: "FENISIA".

E proprio come la "Fenice", che rinasce dalle proprie ceneri rinvigorita, così i Fenisia prendono vita dalle ceneri di un band ormai disciolta, i Purple Phoenix, di cui ne componevano i tre quinti e con i quali pubblicarono due Ep: "Oltre le Colonne", con la partecipazione di Adriano Viterbini (affermato chitarrista turnista), e "Doppia Fiamma", costituendo un ottimo power-trio chitarristico con Marc Nicoletti.

La trasformazione avvenne negl'anni del silenzio e della ricerca individuale, di studio e rielaborazione, caratterizzati da episodi e incontri che formeranno sia il substrato personale che musicale dei membri.

I Fenisia partecipano da subito a numerose manifestazioni rock piazzandosi tra i primi posti attirando così l'attenzione della critica e degli ascoltatori ed aprono un esibizione del famoso bluesman Roberto Ciotti.

Nel 2007 Nic ed il bassista Johnny Space (Enrico Valentini) decidono di registrare il primo Album auto prodotto traendo le basi dai precedenti due Ep.

Si rivolgono al vecchio amico Simone Durante (Autore e compositore degli Aleph) per iniziare le registrazioni nel suo studio. Nic Ciaz ha registrato tutte le parti vocali e tutte le chitarre, Marc Nicoletti e Lian Ciaz hanno contribuito registrando le chitarre in alcuni brani, Johnny Space al basso, Simone Durante alle tastiere mentre 2 sono i batteristi impegnati: Mauro Bellisario (ex Aleph) e Matteo Gabbianelli.

A metà dello stesso anno l'album è già pensato, il materiale in gran parte registrato e dopo numerose false partenze vede luce finalmente "Rifugio": 11 brani inediti in lingua italiana, la bonus track "Shelter" incisa in lingua Inglese ed il singolo omonimo finisce in varie radio locali.

Il riscontro col pubblico è immediato, seguono serate e live, mentre continua la ricerca musicale della band che vede cambiare ed evolversi la propria Line-up. Non più solo Southern, i Fenisia inglobano nel loro sound riverberi di hard rock dal sapore anni '70, ma anche e soprattutto impronte metal.

Tra il 2008 e 2009 lo stesso Nic Ciaz, con al suo fianco Lian Ciaz, intraprende un percorso musicale che integra richiami metal a studi esoterici e scientifici che sfociano in una miscela di suoni duri e testi accattivanti, permeati di richiami mitologici e letterali, fortemente influenzati dall'antico movimento dell'illuminismo. Prende così corpo il nuovo album "Lucifer", un progetto elaborato ma soprattutto un "Concept Album" che segue una logica musicale già contemplata nel precedente "Rifugio", ma che riscrive completamente la personalità sonora della band che abbraccia totalmente un altro genere da loro stessi battezzato Metal Illuminista, "Shining Metal". Il mastering del brano "Damnation's Ballad", primo estratto del nuovo lavoro, viene realizzato agli Sterling Sound di New York da Leon Zervos passando per il Forward studio a Roma. Debutta con interviste e recensioni su moltissime webzine, entra nella compilation dei migliori brani di Metal Demons e passa in radio come RadioRadio by Night, RLT e Radio Spazio Aperto.
